Agreement to Terms

These Terms & Conditions (the "Terms") apply to your use of Psalm Pal, including the website at https://pslampal.charonvii.dev and all related products, features, and services (collectively, the "Service" or "App") operated by glitchrun ("we," "us," or "our").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

This Service is a faith-based companion app designed to help you engage with Scripture, prayer, and community through AI-powered guidance, daily reflections, and shared prayer. Information about our privacy practices can be found in our Privacy Policy.

Please note that Psalm Pal is provided for informational and devotional purposes. The app does not provide medical, psychological, legal, or pastoral counseling. If you are experiencing emotional distress, mental health concerns, or any other serious challenges, please seek personalized support from a qualified professional or call emergency services immediately (911 in the U.S. or 112 in Europe).

Who We Are

Psalm Pal is a product of glitchrun, operated by Greg Young. Our mission is to create a reliable, Scripture-centered tool that helps you deepen your relationship with God through daily verses, reflective prompts, AI-guided conversation, and community prayer.

The Service includes features such as daily Scripture readings, AI-powered biblical Q&A, prayer requests, personal notes and reflections, community groups, and personalized study plans. Some responses within the Service are generated by artificial intelligence.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of these Terms and, where appropriate, by sending an email notification or displaying a notice within the Service.

Your continued use of the Service after any changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using the Service.

Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. If you are under 18, you must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

To access certain features, you may need to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to update it as necessary.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we believe, in our sole discretion, pose a risk to the Service or other users.

License to Use the Service

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial purposes.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service, nor may you reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the Service, unless expressly permitted by applicable law.

User Content and AI Inputs

The Service allows you to submit content, including prayer requests, reflections, notes, questions, and prompts ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content. However, by submitting User Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, and process that content solely for the purpose of providing, improving, and operating the Service.

AI Inputs and Outputs: When you submit prompts to the AI feature ("Inputs"), the Service generates responses ("Outputs"). You should not include sensitive personal information in your Inputs. Outputs are generated by artificial intelligence and may not always be accurate, complete, or appropriate. You should evaluate Outputs critically and verify them against Scripture and trusted sources.

You are solely responsible for your User Content and for any consequences of sharing it through the Service. Community features such as prayer requests are visible to other users as you intend.

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.

Post or transmit any content that is defamatory, obscene, abusive, hateful, or that promotes discrimination or violence.

Use the Service to impersonate any person or entity or to misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.

Use the Service in any way that could harm minors or expose them to inappropriate content.

We reserve the right to remove any User Content and to suspend or terminate access to users who violate these acceptable use terms.
